We have 17 Trap fields, 3 Skeet fields, and an active Five-Stand field. We now have nine Pat-Traps, and skeet and sporting clay improvements are planned. Although special events occupy one or more fields on occasion, we are open Thursday evenings in spring - summer -fall, and on weekends year-round. Beginners are welcome, but all shooters must check in at the clubhouse and become familiar with our safety & conduct rules before shooting.
Please note that only 7.5 or smaller target loads in 2 3/4 in shells are allowed on Amarillo Gun Club grounds. 3 inch or "magnum" shells ARE NOT ALLOWED on club property. Also, no rifles or handguns are allowed - target shotgun shooting only. All guns remain OPEN AND UNLOADED at all times except when on the range, ready for your next target.
